Kawasaki's origins can be traced back to 1956, when it introduced its first motorcycle to the Japanese market. 10 years later, in 1966, Kawasaki brought it's operation to the United States and established its first motorcycle manufacturing plant in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. In 1973, it began to manufacturer personal watercraft. In 1981, Kawasaki introduced the KLT-200, it's first All Terrain Cycle (ATC). Four years later, in 1985 it's first four wheel ATV was introduced, the KLF-185. Today, Kawasaki remains a major player in the Powersports industry.
